Support Café Operations as an Assistant Manager at MatchaLab!
Position Overview:
As the Assistant Café Manager at MatchaLab, you will collaborate closely with the Café Manager to ensure seamless daily operations of our delivery-only matcha café. Your role will involve assisting in managing the team and ensuring that each order meets our top-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Support:
- Assist in overseeing baristas and staff, providing guidance and support.
- Aid in managing scheduling, shift coverage, and payroll duties.
- Foster a positive work environment and assist in team training initiatives.
2. Operational Assistance:
- Help manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functional.
3. Customer Service:
- Support the Café Manager in delivering excellent customer service by ensuring accurate and timely order preparation.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
4.Quality Control:
- Assist in maintaining MatchaLab’s high-quality standards for all matcha beverages.
- Help implement and uphold health and safety protocols.
5. Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the Café Manager on marketing initiatives and promotional strategies.
- Assist in analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
5. Training and Development:
- Support the training of new staff and contribute to ongoing team development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and help incorporate new techniques into operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a café, restaurant, or similar setting with some leadership responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to assist with inventory management, budgeting, and financial tracking.
- Passion for matcha and enthusiasm for leading a dynamic team.
